ABOUT THE PLAYING POSSUM SESSION
Carly Simon’s Playing Possum album was released in April 1975, and the cover — photographed by Norman Seeff — became one of the decade’s most provocative and unforgettable images. Carly’s bold, sensual pose challenged the norms of its time and asserted a powerful sense of artistic control and individuality.

Carly Simon’s legendary surprise concert at New York’s Grand Central Terminal took place in April 1995, where commuters walking through Grand Central were pleasantly surprised to stumble upon Simon and her band performing a full, unannounced concert in the middle of the main terminal.
