The garden of the house I grew up in was filled each spring with a profusion of peonies, lovingly tended by my mother. I seem to have inherited this passion as I have continued to plant and prune and cherish these exquisite plants. I photograph the new blooms each spring hoping to capture something of this intoxicating moment. My childhood friend Ellen Questel's artistic talents enabled us to breathe life into these pictures creating wearable works of art. Each scarf has an excerpt from one of my songs. Just a little something to remember me by.
